Look at it a different way...

"Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, 'The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.'”  - Lamentations 3:22-24 (NIV 2011)

Admit it...we all have them...bad days! What keeps you hanging on? When things seem to not be going your way OR when things seem to be going the "same old way."  What keeps you going?  Last week, I had the opportunity to talk you a great group of young men and women that were helping at children's camp.  They had just completed the first session of children's camp and were looking at two more sessions of doing the same exact thing.  Just like life, it's fun the first time around, but it becomes a little boring or even burdensome after the first time.

I spoke to them about trying to see the second and third session through the eyes of the children; experiencing each activity, each worship service, each event through the children they were working with instead of their own eyes.  Seeing camp through the eyes of the children helped some of these young men and women experience God's mercy in a new way.  God's mercy never fails, but we sometimes miss it because we don't pay attention.  Sometimes we need to look at the same situation with a different view or a different focus to realize that God hasn't change at all.  He is STILL all we need.

What situation can you look at differently today?  Whatever it is, know that God's compassion will never leave you.  It is there every day...and it's all you need.  You can make it!
